As a therapist, I start from a space of curiosity for exploration and affirmation without judgement. I view therapy as a tool to support your growth, healing and self-awareness, founded on a unique relationship with each person I see in therapy. Many people I work with have experienced traumatic events and oppression from systems that target certain people for exclusion and violence. Despite the obstacles that can prevent us from experiencing connection, I believe that every person is worthy of love and community.
I work with people who are looking for help with feelings of sadness and hopelessness, need support managing anxiety, and navigating difficult relationships. I have a particular interest in working with transgender and non-binary people, and LGBTQIA people generally, although I work with clients of many backgrounds.
As a therapist, I come from a feminist and engaged social justice perspective to utilize tools from relational, mindfulness and attachment-based therapy. I am gender-affirming, sex-positive, poly/non-monogamous/kink aware, and committed to non-pathologizing approaches.

For the health and wellbeing of clients during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, I am conducting all sessions remotely via secure video teletherapy or telephone. I anticipate continuing with all remote sessions through at least the end of 2020, and will continue to evaluate options for resuming in-person sessions in the future.
Fees and Payment
Regular 50-minute individual therapy session: $150
I also offer a limited number of sliding scale spots at $125 and $100/session for clients who are unable to pay the full fee. I offer sliding scale spots in hopes of making therapy more affordable for clients who cannot afford my regular fee, while knowing that even my lowest sliding scale fee is unaffordable for many people who need and deserve therapy.
