Working with Anemone
My overall approach starts with warmth and curiosity, and is based on a real and present-moment relationship with each client that is grounded in relational and Gestalt therapies. I frequently draw on EMDR, mindfulness, gender-affirming, attachment-based, queer liberation and other modalities.
I often work with people experiencing depression, hopelessness and anxiety, and who have experienced traumatic events and relationships. I have extensive experience supporting LGBTQIA and questioning people (including trans and non-binary teens and adults), people who have survived religious/spiritual trauma and family and relational trauma, and organizers and activists.
