About Me

Anemone sees psychotherapy clients in a private practice in Philadelphia and is the Dean of Counseling at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine.  She also facilitates support groups through the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Gender and Sexuality Development Program.

 

Anemone received her Masters of Social Science in Clinical Social Work from Bryn Mawr College in 2017. Post-graduate, she trained for two years at the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Philadelphia.

 

Originally from Central Maine, Anemone lives in West Philadelphia. Prior to returning to Pennsylvania, Anemone lived in Austin, Texas, where she was the Clinical Social Worker at Out Youth, Lead Clinician of Transgender Wellness at the KIND Clinic, and on the Board of the Central Texas Trans Health Coalition. Anemone was previously the designated social worker for the Pediatric & Adolescent Comprehensive Transgender Services (PACTS) program at Mazzoni Center and a therapist at the Attic Youth Center.
